Hughes, born in the UK, has had an extraordinary journey. A former Special Forces soldier, Great Britain Duathlete, Pro-Cyclist, and Commercial airline pilot, he also delivered the world's highest video broadcast from the summit of Everest to the BBC News channel.

As a global nomad, Hughes is always on the move. He is most excited about capturing some of the world's most extraordinary places and the stories of Indigenous people.

Hughes has a unique way of visual storytelling that has led him to work with some of the world's most renowned brands, including Arcteryx, Garmin, Microsoft, Nike, Sony, and Strava. He fulfils over 30 commissions a year, and his work is seen all over the world.
